With a 40 millions Euros budget, the ENPC graduates each year 170 high level engineers, 135 students in Master’s programs or equivalent and 140 in the doctoral programs (PhD) organized in the 10 research laboratories of the school.
The international attendance is important with 280 foreign students.
Ponts Formation Edition (PFE SA) is- with more than 50 permanent people staff- the ENPC specialized
subsidiary in continuing education with a turn over of 6,8 millions Euros.
Amongst the main French engineering “ Grandes Ecoles ”, we have been leader in this continuing education area for many years, with more than 200 seminars held yearly in France and abroad, attended by about 6000 trainees.
Our abroad actions organized with the close partnership of Metratech represent 20 % of our activities(more than 1 million Euros US $).
We implement training courses, but we also manage the whole process of competencies evaluation,
training needs assessment, courses design with methods based on quality.
Furthermore, we are able to contribute to organization development processes based on functional
analysis and strategical analysis which aim at establishing competence frames of reference for each kind of job.
In our different activities fields (building,
roads, bridges construction, urban and county planning,
water supply, environment, transportation, management,...),
• our training experience allowed us to maintain a close collaboration with the whole French
technical network for important training program implementation,
• specially targetted to civil servants, but also to research and engineering offices, laboratories, building firms and material suppliers.
Abroad, in the same fields, we have performed
• a lot of punctual missions to support our local clients (on the job seminars, workshop,
individual or collective study trips in France, national project-teams training....)
• but also pluri-annual actions in the framework of international biddings, with courses particulary devoted to local organizations institutional development.
These actions are usually financed either by World Bank credits, or by European or French credits.
